Holding down the Control key while clicking on a key (or clicking the right mouse button) with a loaded sound will display the key's context menu.

Selecting Inspector from the menu will display the inspector window.

The Effects Processing table can be used to assign any Audio Unit effects to be applied when the key's sound is playing. Click the + button which will then show a pop-up menu labelled None in the effect table. An effect can then be chosen from the list by clicking on the pop-up. Once selected, any editable parameters will be displayed in a separate window.
The effects available will depend on which effects have been installed on your machine. Several standard effects are available, including Filters, Delay and Reverb. Others may be added by placing them in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/.
Effects can be removed by selecting the effect to remove and then clicking the - button. Effects can also be rearranged in processing order by dragging each effect within it's table. Effects can be duplicated between keys by dragging the effect from one key's inspector to another.
The sound view can be used to cut and paste regions of the key's sound using the clip-board. This can be useful to remove leading or trailing silence or for trimming a sound to loop on the beat. Regions of the sound are marked by clicking within the sound view and dragging over a region of the sound, which will then be highlighted.
Regions of a key's sound can become a new key. Simply highlight a region by dragging over the sound view, then drag and drop that region onto an empty key on a keyboard window. This is useful to grab a “riff” or “sound bite” from an MP3 file which can then form a loop in another tune.
Keys with MP3 sounds can be copied and dragged and dropped, but can not be modified (cut or pasted). Note that copying regions of MP3 files requires decoding MP3 data, so this can be a processor intensive operation. Longer regions will take longer to process.
