To save the performance just played, select File→Save Mix... and then name the sound file. The format of the mix file can be set in the AlphabetSoup→Preferences...→Save Mix menu.
Saving does not start until the first sound is played, this avoids a leading silence.
If no keys have been played for over 30 seconds, Alphabet Soup halts recording to prevent filling your hard disk with a large temporary file. As soon as another key is pressed, recording will resume.
Note: The sampling rate is currently fixed at 44100.0KHz. The field is for informational purposes only. In future versions this will be able to be changed.
