Create a folder on your hard drive called Samples and use it to store all of the audio files you intend to use in Alphabet Soup.
Keep you audio files arranged in some sort of order. Store them in folders according to tempo (for example 140bpm), or style (for example house, techno) for quick and easy retrieval.
Once you create a set of sounds that work well together, save them as an .soup file. This way, you can call up these sounds any time you like, by just double-clicking on the Alphabet Soup icon.
Name your Alphabet Soup files in a way that makes sense to you. This way you can quickly search for your files.
Having a file named drumsnbass will be a lot easier to locate than a file simply named 001, or untitled.
